Tournament play--can mini "D" be stopped?

tournament.html

Our mini "D" which as you know stands for dominator has been racking up the tournament hardware lately. He is going for three wins in a row this weekend. Check out his story.

Last weekend, November 10th-11th, I played in Lexington, Ohio. I like to go to the Lexington Turkey Tourney because I like their courts, the director is nice, they have doubles play and a ping pong table.

Playing in competititions is fun because I get to play alot of matches and see my friends. I turned 12 in August so I will be playing in the Boys 12's division for another year and also some 14's matches.

In May, I broke my wrist and couldn't use my left arm to play all summer. It still hurts but I am starting to play tournaments again. Actually, I won my last two and I also won in the doubles division in Lexington so I brought home two trophies!

When I win trophies, I get to bring them to practice the next day to show everyone and also to school because my principal and teachers think they're great. In Lexington this time, I played a really tough match for the finals. I had to focus and play good to win.

I won the first set in a tie break then won the second set 6-1. I am going to practice hard this week to get ready for Towpath's Thanksgiving Tournament. I am the number 3 seed.

Ryan is getting his game back. He has moved up to the 14's and is beginning to turn some heads.

Look out for Ryan....Mini D.

This is Ryan's page. Visit here often to learn how he is doing throughout the year. I plan on having him give highlights of his events and even offer encouragement to those of you who could use some.
